There is something mystical about seeing time such as "02:02" or "08:08" all the time. All the time. It's unnerving but perhaps even messianic. Difficult to put my fingers on what, but it makes me stare at the digital clock in anticipation and nervousness. But of course, nothing happens. Time is such a thing. It keeps coming back, in mysterious forms.
Digital clocks indeed give a new meaning to numbers and number patterns from within time, but locating them without.
