Joys of Lucknow

1) In Lucknow the fruit seller teaches u how to pick the best apples. The weather's lovely and the adrak chai tastes delightful. Lucknow retains its life-affirming winter charms!
2) It appears that the south smokes a lot less than the north on an avg. Of course I mean north minus Jnu and Bengal, minus bongs in general. Still.
3) Watching Bhojpuri films in theatres I am forced to resent film studies once in a while. But what I miss the most is the right arrow key. It is serious torture!
4) Lanka: Realized that it is indeed painful to watch actors perform to their potential when the story is devoid of basic causality and the most primitive coherence.

Also, that what we know as the new-noir genre predictably depends on the lawlessness of small towns and the fear of feudalism lurking in the existential code of the shadow region of modernity. What is more interesting is the metaphorical landscape of Ramayana, and the allegorical revisiting of Lanka thereby painting Sita as the ultimate femme fatale. But that is only if willing manipulation is not a neccessary mandate of the femme fatale.

The film is ordinary overall, however has its moments. None of the actors disappoint, but the screenplay writer does a miserable job.
